How we handle your information. Short version: we keep it simple and we don't sell your data.

Who we are
Win Local ("Win Local," "we," "us," or "our") is a brand operated by J Bone Investments. This Privacy Policy explains how Win Local collects, uses, and protects information submitted through this website (bootsandpixels.com and gowinlocal.com).
What we collect
When you send us a question, we collect your name, business name, email address, phone number (optional) and your message.
When you sign up and fill out the onboarding form, we also collect:
- Your business address, service areas, services and hours
- Your website address, domain registrar and Facebook page link, if you give them
- The logo and job photos you upload
- Whether you've opted in to receive text messages from us
We never ask for passwords. Access to your Google Business Profile and Facebook page is granted by you, through their own invite tools, and you can remove it any time.
We don't run ad pixels or third-party tracking tools, and we don't collect any data beyond what you directly submit.
How we use your information

- To set up and run the services you pay for: your website, your Google Business Profile, directory listings, review requests, posts and reports
- To contact you by the method(s) you've told us you prefer
Your job photos are used on your own website, Google Business Profile and social pages. We don't use them anywhere else without asking.
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes. Ever.
Text messaging (SMS)
We will only send you text messages if you explicitly opt in on our forms. You may separately consent to transactional messages and/or marketing messages. Full SMS terms are on our Terms of Service page.
Transactional messages
By checking the transactional opt-in box, you consent to receive transactional messages related to your account, orders, or services you have requested. These messages may include appointment reminders, order confirmations, and account notifications among others. Message frequency may vary. Message & Data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt-out.
Marketing and promotional messages
By checking the marketing opt-in box, you consent to receive marketing and promotional messages, including special offers, discounts, new product updates among others. Message frequency may vary. Message & Data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt-out.
- You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. We'll immediately stop texting you.

If you don't check either SMS opt-in box, we will never text you.
How we handle your phone number
Your phone number is collected only when you give it to us yourself on one of our forms. It is stored with the rest of your submission and used to contact you about your service, and to send the text messages you opted in to.
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS consent are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The only parties that ever touch your number are the service providers that make our service work on our behalf, and they are not permitted to use it for anything else.
Ask us to delete your number at any time through our contact form and we'll remove it.
By submitting a form, you're agreeing that we can email you about your question or your service. If you want us to stop emailing you, just say so and we will.
Where your data is stored
Form submissions and uploaded photos are stored in our database and file storage, hosted by Supabase, and a copy of the text you submit is delivered to our inbox through Netlify Forms. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your card number. Each of these providers processes data on our behalf under their own privacy policies.
Third-party services
This site uses Google Fonts, which loads fonts from Google's servers. Google may collect standard request data (IP address, browser type) when fonts are loaded.
We don't use Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or any other third-party tracking tools on this site.
Your rights
You can ask us to delete any information we have about you, tell you what information we have on file, or correct anything that's wrong. Send a request through our contact form and we'll take care of it.
Changes to this policy
If we make meaningful changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
